Safello Now Allowing Users to request invitations to its newly launched Bitcoin wallet service

The Sweden-based Bitcoin services company now allows users to request invitations to its newly launched Bitcoin wallet services. The company says it will leverage Blockchain’s API, though its wallet service will build upon Blockchain‘s basic offering, add an additional social layer to allow users easily search for other users with whom they’ve previously transacted.

The newly launched feature has been appreciated a lot by the users as they claim that with it there won’t be complexities that are otherwise they face using Bitcoin wallets. Even Safello admitted that it framed its wallet service as one that aims to eliminate some of the more common pain points associated with Bitcoin wallets.

The company says that using the Bitcoin wallet is so easy that even elderly people like mom could use it. It has come with features that are common to digital address books and allow users to easily search for friends. Nonetheless, the information about the launch of the service came from a panel session at Sthlm Tech Fest, a Sweden-based conference.

Using the Bitcoin Wallet Would be Similar to Using the Social Media

Sthlm Tech Fest featured top talent from the payments world such as Stripe and iZettle alongside Bitcoin companies such as Safello, Blockchain and KnCMiner. Using the opportunity to launch its much awaited product, Safello has tried to go unconventional way to bring up the product. It could have though opted for press release, instead it opted a conference.

A representative for the company talked to the media and admitted that his company anticipates to slowly letting users in during this month or next month. He elaborated the rich features in the solution; one of them according to him is that all transactions can be viewed in a timeline and if verified accounts are being used, Bitcoin addresses will be replaced by user names, photos and comments.

The features are more or less in the line of the social media that the people are well aware of and according to the company the end result is Safello’s wallet history being visualized more in the style of the social timelines that Facebook and Twitter users have grown accustomed to.

Safello does not store any private keys at all, as the wallet uses Blockchain’s API to create wallets and aims to provide the cryptocurrency market with a safe way to buy, sell and store Bitcoins.
