NYC Prepares for ‘Inside Bitcoins’ Conference Next Month

New York City will be holding the ‘Inside Bitcoins’ conference on April 7-8 at the Javits Convention Center. The mega event is a continuation of the event that was last held in Las Vegas this past winter. Now it is a turn of the new city where new speakers and audience would be flocking in large numbers.

It would be the second time that ‘Inside Bitcoins’ will be held in New York. Last year in July, a successful conference was held where more than 150 attendees participated in a one day event.

Issues in Agenda

As there have not been any major events after the Mt. Gox collapse, it would be a hot topic of debate among the participants. Though several other issues like Bitcoin’s capabilities to carve out a significant place for itself alongside today’s mainstream payment technologies, technical and regulatory obstacles, etc. would also be discussed, Mt. Gox will definitely be talked about.

The reports last coming in show that ‘Inside Bitcoins’ New York has announced its keynote speakers for this year’s conference as well. Reports are that headline speakers at the event will be Circle’s Jeremy Allaire; he will give the opening keynote. Blockchain’s Nicolas Cary, has been kept as the keynote speaker on the 7th April.

According to Alan Meckler, CEO of event organizer MediaBistro there has been several additions to keep the quality of the event up. He said that apart from the above mentioned keynote speakers, a second event track has been added to day two of the event which will be exploring the financial issues associated with Bitcoin.

Who Should Attend the ‘Inside Bitcoin’ Conference?

After the mega success of the Las Vegas conference, the organizers of the event claim that professionals like Developers, Entrepreneurs, Financial professionals, Private equity, corporate, angel and venture capital investors, Banks and financial institutions, Brick-and-mortar merchants and online retailers, etc. can participate.

There is also huge scope for interaction and reaching to new segments for Credit and loyalty solution providers, Consultants, Daily deal and group buying networks, Data and payment processors, Legal professionals, Security solution providers, Founders of early stage and emerging growth companies, etc.

Registration Open for Participants

The organizers of ‘Inside Bitcoin’ are inviting participants who can register visiting the ‘official page.’ Full Conference Pass which is available for $499 will provide participants access to conference sessions on both days. Registered members will also get access to the exhibit floor, continental breakfast and Cash Bar Reception on April 7.
