After grand success everywhere else, Inside Bitcoins Conference will now be held in Hong Kong. According to the organizers of the event as Bitcoin is becoming a household name around the world, the Inside Bitcoins Conference series is hosting conferences around the world and the name of Hong Kong came naturally to them as it has huge presence of Bitcoin companies.
The two day conference will be held on June 24-25 and aims to demystify the myths and spur wider adoption of Bitcoin across Asia. To be held at Hong Kong SkyCity Marriot Hotel, Inside Bitcoins Hong Kong is Asia’s largest conference on Bitcoins and cryptocurrency will see experts and business heads with hand on experience dealing in the digital currency.
Coming at a time when Hong Kong has unveiled first ever Bitcoin ATM in its land, the conference can be a turning point for Bitcoin entrepreneurs who wish to cash in the potential present in the Asian market. When Bitcoin reached to the benchmark of $1200 in November last year, it was due to heavy demand from Chinese customers.
Thus, it looks like China holds the key when it comes to the future of Bitcoin and according to the organizers of the event they are excited to launch Inside Bitcoins Hong Kong to spread knowledge on this subject to allow attendees to gain a better understanding of the digital currency and how it provides opportunities for start-ups and players in different industries.
Expert and Experienced Speakers Roped In
There will be over 20 seminar sessions and 45 speakers from technology and financial sectors presenting their views and experience to fellow Bitcoiners. Some renowned speakers include Bobby Lee, CEO and Co-Founder of BTC China who is going to host a keynote session on the topic “Bitcoin in China: Second Generation of Products and Services.”
The contribution of BTC China, the largest Bitcoin exchange in the country has not been forgotten by the organizers; however, as Bitcoin is facing tough challenge in the country, Lee is expected to put his views on it. The official policy of the Chinese government has left Bitcoin companies in disarray; the event will clear many doubts.
This won’t be the only event coming from Inside Bitcoin organizers as they are expected to announce firm dates for additional events taking place in 2014 in Melbourne, Australia; Tel Aviv, Israel; London, England; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Seoul, South Korea.
