BTC-e Introduces Multi-Currency Accounts to its Trading Platform

BTC-e Introduces Multi-Currency Accounts to Trading Platform – Bulgaria based popular cryptocurrency exchange BTC-e recently launched multi-currency Meta Trader accounts that is denominated in the most popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Litecoin and Namecoin. The accounts will also denominate the leading fiat currencies like EUR, GBP, CHN and RUB as well. The exchange was earlier offering only USD accounts only.

The news was first revealed via a press release published by BTC-e representatives on their official website. The PR also informed users about the importance of the aforementioned changes. “Multi-currency MT accounts”, it said, “have exactly the same benefits and trading conditions as MT accounts denominated in USD. The only difference is that Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin, EUR, GBP, RUB and other currencies will be used as the “base asset” to display balance, profit and other parameters of your trading account in Meta Trader 4 (MT4).”

Conversion Fees Eliminated

According to the PR, the new amendments will be helpful to those users who need to transfer their funds to their MT4 accounts. Earlier, the users were obliged to convert their cryptocurrency into USD before transferring to MT4. With new multi-currency accounts, users can simply open an account in their preferred fiat currency; thus saving on conversion costs eventually.

Users will also be allowed to open multiple trading accounts, so they can “open trading accounts in different currencies, deposit, trade, and withdraw completely avoiding conversion costs and paying minimal deposit/withdrawal commissions.”

Users can open their MT4 Multi-Currency accounts by visiting BTC-e official website.
