In a new report published by European Intelligence Unit Europol, Bitcoin was mentioned as one of the major tools for supporting “crime-as-a-service” model. Tera Group Signs Merger with MGT Capital Investments

US’s first Bitcoin derivate exchange Tera Exchange is all set to become the US’s first publicly listed Bitcoin exchange as well, thanks to a merger agreement signed between it and gaming website operator MGT Capital Investments. As per the available details, Tera will hold a 70% stakes of the combine companies, a step that will automatically help them to get listed as a public company. Utah Passes Bill to Allow People Pay Tax in Bitcoin

State of Utah recently became the first US state to pass a bill that allows people to pay their income taxes in the cryptocurrency Bitcoin. The bill, that was proposed earlier this year by Rep Marc K Roberts and received further support by Senator Todd Weiler, had its share of struggles for its conflicts with the existing Fed laws.
