While stressing more on Bitcoin as a technological tool, Andreas Antonopoulos predicted it to be successful in next two year. The cryptocurrency advocate was addressing an audience at a San Francisco-held Bitcoin conference. On being asked about the coin’s bearish behaviors during the year 2014, Antonopoulos reminded audience of the $500 investment Bitcoin industry received during the same year, which ultimately resulted into profits. Hong Kong Bitcoin Exchange Robs Customers Off Their Investment
According to a report published on a daily Chinese newspaper, Hong Kong-based Bitcoin investment company MyCoin disappeared with investors’ money — estimated to be around $US40 million. The interviews given by the victims revealed the corrupt mechanism following which MyCoin literally looted them. The case has now been forwarded to lawmaker Leung Yiu-chung, who is now further expecting to meet Hong Kong’s Monetary Authority for the same. You can read the full report here.

Dark Wallet recently finished his first ever fundraiser campaign with Lighthouse Crowdfunding App, achieving a nominal target of 1 BTC. The fundraiser launcher, codename BashCo, meanwhile declined any internal association with the Dark Wallet team, but simply called himself a supporter of this upcoming privacy-centric Bitcoin wallets.
