An invitation-only event, Bitcoin London will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 to discuss opportunities, challenges and how to make it pro-business. Hummingbird Venture partner and organizer of the event, Pamir Gelenbe is of the opinion that the event aims to bring together entrepreneurs, VC investors and folks from hedge funds.

The event would however not touch the political aspect which could generate even more turbulence for the troubled virtual currency. The focus will be on how to cash in Bitcoins for business and attract investors and traders get more involved in Bitcoins trading.

Though gaining wide acceptance amongst individuals and companies, Bitcoin is still in loggerheads with various governmental agencies which rue that Bitcoins is being used for contraband activities. Participating members can listen to the panels talking about a range of topics that may include inter alia legal issues with Bitcoins, investment opportunities, whether Iceland should adopt Bitcoin as its national currency.

Organizers of the event expect for more than 200 attendees who will share the views on how to popularize Bitcoins for businesses. In fact, several panelists believe that Bitcoin is emerging as a major challenge for the status quo which is in favor of governments that manipulate currencies as per their whims and fancies.

Speakers including of venture capitalist Stefan Glaenzer, BitInstant CEO Charlie Shrem, BitStamp CEO Nejc Kodrič, and CoinDesk’s own Shakil Khan, etc. amongst others will be discussing the issues at the conference.
