Barnes Real Estate School to Accept Bitcoin from Students

Now students can pay fees in the form of Bitcoin to Barnes Real Estate School. In its latest announcement the school said that it is now accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment from students who can enroll in any online or in-house real estate or home inspection course. The school offers several courses, with the new option to pay, students will definitely benefit.

According to Mack Barnes, Director and Vice-President of Barnes Real Estate School, Bitcoin, a prominent digital currency has gained popularity in 2013 and his organization believes that 2014 will be a banner year for the virtual currency. Also, he says that he has always been on the technological cutting edge and plans to continue to be on the forefront by accepting Bitcoin.

Currently, the real estate school has several terms and conditions for students; for instance, they have six months to complete studies once enrolled in its Basic I Pre-License, Basic II Post License, Broker, Continuing Education, or Home Inspection course. Similarly, students enrolled in an exam prep course have 30 days to complete studies once enrolled.

Additional Payment Option Will Help Students

The real estate school believes that it is the responsibility of the continuing education student to renew their license in a timely manner. The latest measure wherein it has announced that it will accept Bitcoin from students is aimed at providing a better payment option but at the same time make the digital currency even more popular than ever.


Once payment is done in Bitcoin, it will be subject to refund policy wherein it says that there won’t be any refund after start of course or 7 days after enrollment. However, if student has not started course and requests a refund within 7 days of enrollment, a refund will be issued but there is a provision for deducting course registration fee.

Nonetheless, according to the real estate school, the registration fee varies depending upon the days. For instance, it will be 35% of tuition within 3 days after enrollment, 50% of tuition 4-7 days after enrollment. However, there won’t be refunds after 7 days from enrollment. Also, there is no provision for refunds in the month of December.

It is another achievement for Bitcoin, a peer-peer virtual currency that was released in 2009. Recently, it reached to new heights when it touched the benchmark of $1200. These days it is trading close to $800.
