NVidia recently launched a new graphic card that not only satisfies the requirements to mine Litecoins adequately, but also have the potential to dethrone AMD in the power-consuming game of cryptocurrency.

ForexMinute.com – It is not about winning any race for NVidia if the context of Litecoin Mining is concerned.

Last week, the globally renowned technology company released a new and better-than-before graphic processing unit, dubbed as GeForce GTX 750 Ti. It features the first-generation “Maxwell”, promising to be double efficient than its predecessor “Kepler”.

To not confuse you with much technicalities, Maxwell technology is simple words can be explained as an innovative architecture that directly saves your system’s power consumption, while boosting its performance to the next levels. If you are a gamer, you can simply understand the astound nature of this technology, as it lets you play your high-end graphic games at full 1080p resolutions, while giving you the most suitable performance-per-watt.

But little NVidia itself realizes that their CHEMICAL X has created more than just a highly efficient gaming card. Instead, the resultant is strong enough to give a run to AMD; reason, its computing capabilities that is sufficient for what is required in Scrypt-based mining.

Seeing at the GeForce GTX 750 Ti’s impressive configuration and the impeccable reviews from leading technology savvy websites, only a Litecoin miner can realize that it had struck gold by spending a mere $149. The Maxwell architecture, which is released with the launch of NVidia GPU, is made to perform better than the AMD graphic cards.

Quite astonishingly, the NVidia’s chap offers a 35% peak performance boost per core, and twice the performance per watt – a figure that can give AMD some sweat dreams in coming days. The former’s product is also cooler and quitter as compared to the latter’s. At least Litecoin miners can sleep well, knowing that their power bills won’t create further holes in their pockets.

And indeed it is the NEWS OF THE WEEK for these miners, who have been lately mortgaging their toy collection to buy an inflated AMD graphic card. The famous technology giant owed its graphic cards price rise to the rising demands of graphic cards from Litecoin users, and later updated the blame by adding Chinese New Year in the scenario.

Thanks to NVidia though, for manufacturing this low-cost, high-performance GPU. All they need to do is open up their ambition a little more to dethrone AMD from its position of leading cryptocurrency mining GPU manufacturers. Who knows that the company’s unnoticeable feature, turn out to be its major asset. It’s a game after all, and both NVidia and AMD understands it well.
