As Bitcoin is catching the attention of the people at the CFA Society of Stamford, the organization has announced that it is holding a March 18 panel discussion on how to get started with Bitcoin and other virtual or “crypto” currencies. According to the organizers of the event participants will be gathering at the Stamford Innovation Center.
The event will last for nearly 2.30 hours and start at 6:00 wherein discussion will be on Networking, Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. It will last for half an hour after which there will be a brief introduction to SHU Doctor of Business Administration Program from 6:30 to 8:30.
The official website of the organizers says, “The new Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Finance at Sacred Heart University is an applied research doctoral degree designed for finance executives and advanced business professionals to expand and deepen their knowledge and to acquire state-of-the-art qualifications for furthering their careers.”
This one hour program will hold Panel Discussion on Bitcoin, Bitcoin Technology and Bitcoin 2.0 Opportunities. It will be followed by discussion on Networking thereafter it will be complimentary coffee, tea and cookies for those who will be participating. The event is expected to gather huge number of Bitcoin enthusiasts.
According to the organizers of the panel discussion on Bitcoin, the even provides excellent networking opportunities for those who think Bitcoin gives them huge potential to leverage and use it to make more money. They claim, “Come meet and network with other members of the CFA Society Stamford as well as other Bitcoin enthusiasts from our area.”
Excellent Opportunity for Networking
Though not the best part, there will be the usual two food services to maximize networking opportunities. The first food service will be served prior to the panel discussion – complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available. The second food service will be served after the panel discussion.
The organizers of the Bitcoin panel discussion also promise that they will serve coffee, tea and cookies so that attendees can stay and network with the panelists and other attendees. Speakers at the CFA Society of Stamford forum include Chris Tormey of Anachron Ventures; Ron Rimkus of the CFA Institute.
