Orbex Review

[00:11] – Hello and welcome to ForexMinute.com review of Orbex, a forex and really a CFD brokerage firm as well. As they have more than just a typical forex trading, they have soft commodities (for example: sugar, coffee, oil, natural gas in the energy sector); several different indices; and it does really have FX future which is something that you don’t typically see. So that is pretty interesting and of course the arbitrary precious metals (Gold and Silver, etc.).

So having said that, I am looking at the Orbex front page. You can see that the 0.9 PIP spread on majors is one of the calling cards of the company. The site itself has a plenty of information on it. For example, it has information on different platforms which are available. So let us take the look at the trading platforms. We have the typical Meta Trader 4 client desktop and multi terminal in case you are trading a couple of trading accounts for people. Windows Mobile Trader, Android Trader, Meta Trader 4 for iPhone and iPad and MAC OS MT4 trader. So it’s all basically Meta Trader 4 base and indeed anyone with a smartphone can handle Meta Trader 4. So that been the case, the broker has plenty of different terminals so that should not be an issue.

[01:45] – Looking at the markets, again you have typical forex markets. It gives you the only information here. The swap rates going long and short, the contract size max lot per trade, minimum fluctuations, minimum leverage (that kind of things), all of these are typical information. And then you do have like you know the more exotic ones like GBPNZD for example; you also have NZDCAD that’s a little bit off the beat pair there. You can also see the soft commodities here, like Coffee and Sugar as mentioned previously. You have Gold and Silver against the Dollar and the Euro. You also have the Futures Contracts. Equities: you got E-Mini S&P, DJ Dow Jones, and so on. So you do have the ability to trade in different markets.

There is an Education section. So anything basically from “What is Forex” to the “Minimum Technical Analysis”. You can see how this can give you an idea of different ways to just look at the market in case you are very new to trading.

[03:15] – They do have the different account types. So for example if you have the minimum deposit of 500 USD on the Universal Mini Accounts for example. So as you can see the minimum volume, etc. So it allows you to really kind of pick the size of the account. For example, I do think you can look at the deposit currency USD and EUR. You can also get free VPS hosting in case if you are an automated trader, the virtual private serves are excellent because you can just run your robot of the server somewhere else. That way you do not have to worry about whether a computer is on or off; that kind of thing. And of course they tend to be much reliable.

You can see that you know, Market News and there is a pretty significant news area here. There is also a Market Research and Trading Central, where which you do your own marketing research. Here are Trading Tools, where you can get Margin and Risk Calculator, Pivot Point Calculator, that kind of thing. You also have Web TV by Orbex. They go ahead and produce video ingredient on market, just like a roundup of the market conditions for example. And you have economic releases which tells you what they are so you know what they do. So it has quite a bit of information in one area.

[04:50] – So for example, when you look at this you can see there is a download section, account documents – all the usual documents which teaches you about money laundering things. You can fund the account directly from the webpage. You can see SKRILL/Moneybookers, Direct Debit and Credit Card, WebMoney Web Transfer, CashU, and Neteller. And as you can see the fees are listed plainly here in front of the webpage. So it allows you to, you know, choose what is best for in case you have doubtful question here. Withdrawals has fees on most of the methods, though fees on WebMoney and Neteller being so different. You can subscribe to a newsletter so it can give you a good idea about forex markets and the current news reports as well. Good thing to wake up to.

You can get SMS notifications as well. Again it’s pretty straightforward. They do offer really good spreads and quite a bit of information. Orbex has pretty standard when it comes to the overall feel of the broker. As you can see in the video, through Meta Trader 4 you get tight spreads and at that point of time it gives you quite a bit of way to kind of work with the broker as you go ahead. And at place to trade on market, they list their awards, which include Fastest Growing Broker in China for example, as well as Best FX Technology Provider. You know so you can see there is a lot; they are pretty well known in the Middle East as well, and they are expanding to the west now.

So that been said, it’s a safe broker to rely on. You can live chat if you have any questions on the website, support is available 24/5, and in several languages.
