The official website of the organizers of the event says that Financial Cryptography and Data Security is a major international forum for research, advanced development, education, etc.

It also admits that the five-day event is aimed at exploration, and debate regarding information assurance, with a specific focus on commercial contexts. According to the organizers of the event the conference covers all aspects of securing transactions and systems, and is expected to see attendance from experts from the cryptocurrency world.

The website says that original works focusing on both fundamental and applied real-world deployments on all aspects surrounding commerce security are solicited. It further reads that submissions need not be exclusively concerned with cryptography. The organizers say systems security and inter-disciplinary works are particularly encouraged.

Bring security and cryptography researchers and practitioners together

Out of various goals, the organizers of the conference say that the fundamental one is to bring security and cryptography researchers and practitioners together with economists, bankers, implementers and policy-makers. Though there are several such events being organized internationally, this will be unique in the sense that it will be lasting for five days.

The organizers of the event say that intimate and colorful by tradition, the FC program features invited talks, academic presentations, technical demonstrations and panel discussions. They say that in addition, several workshops will be held in conjunction with the FC conference to provide ample opportunities for attendees to explore the potential.

Registration Open for Attendees and Sponsors

The organizers say that there are three levels of registration fees: General, Academic, and Student, plus a special Accompanying rate intended for spouses, guests, etc., who will not attend the scientific sessions but who wish to join the meals and social events. However, there is a provision for parties to register separately for the main conference.

Interested persons may also register separately for the affiliated workshops i.e. registrants may choose which workshop to attend, and may switch between them. Also, a combined registration for both conference and workshops is available at a discounted rate. For more information please visit the website.
