The much awaited event for Bitcoin community is over as CoinSummit is going to take place on July 10-11 2014 at the East Wintergarden London. The two-day event connecting virtual currency entrepreneurs, angel and VC investors, hedge fund professionals and others who are looking to learn and network in the virtual currency industry, is expected to get a huge gathering.
The event is being sponsored by several big companies like CEX.IO, GHash.IO, Swarm, Netagio, etc. Online portal for Bitcoin, CoinDesk is a media partner of CoinSummit. Media pass are available for interested parties; what they need to do is just fill in name, company detail, Twitter handle, email ID.
Prominent Speakers to Speak on Various Issues
The organizers of the event have invited some prominent speakers like Marc Aafjes, Christopher Ander, Emmanuel Abiodun, Stephanie Baker and dozen others. All of these speakers have done something that they can feel proud to announce. For instance, Marc Aafjes is working as Chief Strategy Officer at BitFury.
Christian Ander who is founder and CEO of BT.CX too are going to be talking about the issues the digital currency ecosystem is facing. Similarly, Emmanuel Abiodun, Chief Commercial Officer of PeerNova, a mining solution provider too is going to be a leading speaker at the summit. Stephanie Baker of Bloomberg too would be present at the event.
How It All Started?
When Pamir Gelenbe and Gulnar Hasnain came up with an idea to hold an event that provide a platform or a forum that can be used for discussing issues related to the digital currency, the idea of CoinSummit came up. Pamir, the co-founder is a Venture Partner at Hummingbird Ventures where he focuses on virtual currencies.
Gulnar Hasnain, another co-founder previously served as Head of Environment and Sustainability Strategy for the Mayor of London’s economic development agency, is a qualified professional with multiple degrees in management and engineering. Her expertise is being used by the organization for better management of the event.
The organizers of the event are inviting the attendees who just need to fill a form by placing the correct information. Tickets for the two day event are GBP 600+20% VAT for pre-series A entrepreneurs and GBP 1200+20% VAT for all others.
The event aims to create a high quality forum for entrepreneurs and investors in the crypto currency industry to discuss current challenges and opportunities, the organizers say that they have a limited ticket allocation available. Therefore, rushing for tickets is suggested.
