MIT Media Labs Borrows from Bitcoin to Create Data Privacy Tool

MIT Media Labs is reported to have been working on a new data privacy tool, called Enigma, that is partly inspired from Bitcoin’s cryptography technology. According to the available details, the said tool allows users to send data that is fully decrypted and undecipherable even by the servers. “You send whatever data you want, and it runs in the black box and only returns the result,” says Guy Zyskind, one of the Enigma’s creators. “The actual data is never revealed, neither to the outside nor to the computers running the computations inside.” You can read the full story here.
