Bitcoin News Mash-Up

Following are the major Bitcoin and cryptocurrency news of the day

Codementor Integrates Bitcoin
Codementor, the Taiwan and San Francisco-based online market developers, integrated Bitcoin payments to its platform after hiring Coinbase as their official payment processor. Known as a superlative platform for developers to provide skill-based customer support, Codementor’s acceptance of Bitcoin payment technology doesn’t come as a surprise. The platform is currently hosting 1,500 experts, including both programmer and engineers from leading technology companies. Its CEO and founder Weiting Liu said:

“Codementor takes a platform fee between 10-20%. Bitcoin has the potential to increase our margin, as it lowers the processing fee we’d be paying for payment and pay-out processors.”

RBS MD: “We are Interested in Bitcoin”
The Reserve Bank of Scotland Managing Director recently appeared in a documentary series, titled “The Day before Tomorrow”, in which he mentioned Bitcoin as a “problem solver”. The man spoke to the camera and said:

“Because it solves a real customer need, large and small, we’re definitely interested in it but there are some pretty major issues that we’re [going to] need to either. First as a bank and then as an industry come to terms with before we can really accept it as a valid form of barter.”
