Baristas Coffee Company (OTCMKTS:BCCI) shares dipped 9.33% to $0.0170 and were unchanged in after-hours trading. Share prices have been trading in a 52-week range of $0.01 to $0.07. The company has a market cap of $1.36 million at 71.60 million.
In a press release, Baristas Coffee Company announced that it is expanding its branded product offering to include coffee-based health and personal care products. Its first product in this category is a high-end, coffee-based morning moisturizer.
This moisturizer is made from Baristas’ award winning five bean variety of pure Arabica beans that have been hand selected and individually roasted, containing antioxidants and beneficial nutrients that are absorbed into the skin, increases energy, alertness, helps burn fat, and increases physical performance.
“We are leveraging our new distribution relationships and the success of Baristas White Coffee to expand our product offering. Now that we have received approval, the new product is expected to begin shipping by the end of next week coinciding with the production of new commercials and other advertising introducing Baristas and its products to the masses,” remarked Baristas Coffee Company CEO Barry Henthorn.
The company has gotten approval to begin shipping nationwide after Front Montgomery appeared on the set of Modern Living with Kathy Ireland where they taped a segment featuring Baristas bestselling White Coffee. Front Montgomery is one of Asia’s top all-time supermodels in the 80s emerging into one of the most recognized and beloved actresses and spokeswomen.
Baristas Coffee Company is a company that currently produces and sells coffee related products under the Baristas brand. The Baristas White Coffee single serve cups compatible with the Keurig 2.0 brewing system is the bestselling product in its category. Baristas also markets other coffee related products.
Baristas gained mainstream exposure when it was the subject of “Grounded in Seattle” the reality show special feature which aired on WE tv.
